PROJECT: CEI SERVICES FOR HARD ROCK STADIUM STATE FUNDED PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS (BRIDGES AND TUNNELS)
SCOPE OF WORK
Erik Sibila was part of the CEI team for this state funded safety project that consisted of a Design-Build of two pedestrian bridges (one over the Turnpike exit ramp and one over NW 199th Street) for the Hard Rock Stadium. The scope of work included Pile foundations, MSE walls, Steel Bridge, erosion control, drainage improvements, new street lighting, future signalization on improvements, signage and pavement markings, precast concrete, curb and gutter, ADA sidewalk/ramp reconstruction, landscaping, sod, irrigation on, temporary traffic control, parking lot modification and resurfacing, striping, and signing.
Project also included construction on of two pre-stressed, pre-cast concrete tunnels under the Hard Rock Stadium’s perimeter ring road segments and involves excavation, coffer dam with steel sheet piles, dewatering, concrete, barrier wall, electrical, lighting, drainage, pumps, irrigation on, landscaping, traffic control, roadway re-construction on, parking lot modification, striping, and signing.

PROJECT: PRE-EVENT NATURAL DISASTER RECOVERY (SERVICES FOLLOWING HURRICANE IRMA)
SCOPE OF WORK

Erik Sibila performed debris monitoring and infrastructure repair in Monroe County and minor inspection ons for sidewalk repair and traffic signal repair following Hurricane Irma in September 2017. This contract received Federal funds from the Federal Highway Administration on (FHWA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). THe team had a staff of over 20 employees performing the following tasks: • Monitoring of Cut and Toss operation ons to remove debris and other hazards from the roadway. • Monitoring of debris removal operation on FDOT roadways as well as off -site Monroe County local roads. • Preparation on of daily activity logs for cut and toss and debris removal work. • Preparing damage assessments for highway and roadway systems • Preparing photo logs with Northing and East coordinates for each of the damaged sites.

Erik Sibila was also in charge of preparing detailed damage inspection on reports (DDIRs), daily work reports, issuing loas to contractors, and performing construction on engineering and inspection on services for bridge function onality and damage to bridges, including destruction on of embankment; damage to erosion protection on devices; damage to bridge piers and pile jackets; damage to guardrails, handrails, catwalks, and navigation on lighting; damage to generators and generator room; limerock base and asphalt washouts; damages to roadway drainage systems; sidewalk damage; signalization on repairs, signal synchronization on and timing; damage to traffic monitoring sites and traffic counting devices; street light damages; restoration on of all signage; restoration of all fencing in federal right-of-way; and restoration on of beach sand erosion protection on devices such as arc culating concrete blocks.

PROJECT: CANAL BANK STABILIZATION ON FOR DRESSEL CANAL AND NW 117 AVENUE CANAL
SCOPE OF WORK
Our team was responsible for providing Construction, Engineering and Inspection on Services (CEI) for two separate canal improvements. 1) Dressel Canal along NW 41st Street from NW 87th Avenue to NW 79th Avenue as well as adjacent to NW 107th Avenue from NW 52nd Street to NW 57th Street. Aside from improvements to the canal, this project included construction ng a pedestrian and bicycle shared use pat compliance with MOT plans. In addition, E plus verified quantities installed by the Contractor and made payment recommendation to the City.
This was accomplished within the following tasks:

PROJECT: FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - DISTRICT 4, BRIDGE COATINGS AND REHABILITATION AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN PALM BEACH AND BROWARD COUNTIES,CONTRACT NO. E4T65, E4T78, E4T84, E4T89, E4U55
SCOPE OF WORK
E Plus served as CEI Bridge Project Engineer/CSS responsible for the administrative duties of containment construction, abrasive blasting activities, coatings for steel and concrete structures, and bridge rehabilitation for this contract with FDOT District 4 managed out of
Palm Beach Operations which includes bridge coatings and minor rehabilitation at 5 locations: 1) SR-704 Westbound to Southbound SR-9/I-95 Interchange; 2) SR-7/US-441 over SR-834 Bridge Coating; 3) SR-A1A over ICWW; 4) SR-84 Bridge #860008 over the South Fork of the New River; 5) I-95/SR-9 over Donald Ross Road. Our team used his previous experience with roadway construction to work with the contractor in developing an Alternative Traffic Control Plan that to eliminate the need for a Special Detour. He is responsible for performing CSS duties such as processing monthly estimates, preparing weather letters, maintaining records.

PROJECT: FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - DISTRICT 4, MILLING AND RESURFACING & LIGHTING SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS ALONG SR-9/I-95 FROM SOUTH OF 10TH AVE N TO NORTH OF SR-882/FOREST HILL BLVD, PALM BEACH COUNTY, CONTRACT NO. T-4608
SCOPE OF WORK
Included milling and resurfacing asphalt shoulders (superpave), overbuild for shoulder cross-slope correction, concrete (removal, barrier, prestressed pole, pole), monitor existing structure (inspection, settlement), signing (single post, panel, overhead structure, work zone), pavement markings (painted, thermoplastic), lighting (pull/splice box, conduit, service, distribution conductors, luminaries), Intelligent Transportation Systems (conduit, fiber optic cable, pull/splice box cabinet, CCTV camera, power supply, Dynamic Message Sign, Road Weather Information System, service), tree (protection, branch pruning), and sod along SR 9 (I-95). Yuriel used his previous roadway designer experience to find a quick solution to a conflict between and existing drainage and the median shaft of the overhead sign structure.
